Katrina Kaif is in love with her boss. And the man in question is certainly not Salman Khan. Well, hold on your thoughts before they start turning really wild as we are talking about her on-screen love in soon to be released ‘RACE’. An Abbas Mustan thriller, this multi-starrer has Katrina playing the role of a personal assistant who is in love with her boss. However, there is not much known about who really is really her boss (Saif Ali Khan or Akshaye Khanna) since this is the very fact which forms the integral part of the film's plot. On her end, Katrina reveals that though her character loves her boss, he on the other hand, misunderstands it for her dedication for work and doesn't quite pay much attention for her love. First thriller of Katrina since the beginning of her career way back in 2003 (‘Boom’), ‘Race’ is a new experience for Katrina who has been seen in back-to-back romantic/comedy hits like ‘Welcome’, ‘Partner’, ‘Namastey London’ and ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya’. Deepika Padukone in race for Asian Film Awards

Latest Bollywood sensation Deepika Padukone has been nominated in the best actress category for her scintillating performance in the blockbuster Om Shanti Om at the second Asian Film Awards Deepika, who grabbed eyeballs with her performance in the Bollywood hit, will vie with Joan Chen of China (The Home Song Stories), Jeon Do-yeon of South Korea (Secret Sunshine), Kirin Kiki (Tokyo Tower: Mom and Me, and Sometimes Dad), Kim Yun-jin of Korea (Seven Days) and Tang Wei of Hong Kong (Lust, Caution) for the top award. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Hong Kong on March 17. Deepika made her debut in 'Om Shanti Om' opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the film based on the theme of reincarnation in which the protagonist attempts to rediscover the mystery of his demise and 'finds' Shanti, the love of his previous life.

Britney not posing for Playboy

Playboy founder Hugh Hefner has shot down reports that Britney Spears has been asked to pose for his famous magazine. Hugh insisted that there was no truth to the rumours. “No truth to it at all. I think there was a period of time where the need to invent stories related to Britney Spears was everywhere,” he concluded. He also opened up about his love life and admitted that the third time certainly has been lucky for him when it comes to love. The octogenarian gushed about his young ladylove Holly, and said that she was ‘The One’ for him. “I haven’t been very lucky. I tried it twice and devoted myself to it...but I would say that my relationship with Holly is a real one. I do think it is going to last,” New York Post quoted him as saying. He then went on to talk about Joe Francis, the founder of Mantra Films, Inc., dubbed as pornopreneur for his pornographic films. “I understand that he would like to be me. If I wasn’t me, I would like to be me, too. In my second life, I am going to be me again,” he added.

Sonam Kapoor may pair with Hrithik

Sonam Kapoor seems to be having a dream run at the very beginning of her acting career. After making her debut in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, Sonam Kapoor grabbed her second project Dilli 6 opposite Abhishek Bachchan . Even as the film, being directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is currently on the floors, Sonam is being considered for future projects by other reputed filmmakers. One of them is Rakesh Roshan , who is working on the script of his next film (not Krrish sequel). Rumours from the tinsel town have it that Roshan senior is thinking of roping in Sonam opposite son Hrithik Roshan in his next directorial venture. Reportedly, the filmmaker even met Sonam’s dad Anil Kapoor to discuss the project and the latter has given his nod. However, there has been no official confirmation of this either by Roshan senior or Anil Kapoor.

Madonna charmed by Rajasthani culture

The world-renowned pop singer has been in Rajasthan for more than a week. Madonna arrived in Jaipur on New Year’s Eve along with her director-husband Guy Ritchie, kids and family friends. Since then she has been visiting many sites in Rajasthan and enjoying the state’s culture and music. The ‘Material girl’ made a visit to the historic Umaid Bhawan palace on Saturday along with her family and friends. She was invited by Maharaja Gaj Singh to visit the palace. And on Sunday morning, Madonna landed in Udaipur and checked in at Hotel Udai Vilas on the bank of lake Pichola. According to reports, Madonna is likely to go on a sightseeing tour of the historic tourist city on Monday. She might also take a boat ride along with her companions. The singer is said to be very charmed by Rajasthani music and dances. In fact, reports say that on Thursday evening last week, Madonna dressed up in traditional Rajasthani clothes and danced with folk artistes at Rohetgarh fort near Jodhpur.

Deepika cheers Yuvraj in Australia

Deepika Padukone has flown to Australia to cheer 'close friend' Yuvraj Singh in the ongoing four-match India-Australia Test series. The Om Shanti Om actress will also celebrate her 22nd birthday on January 5 with the cricketer. Deepika is expected to spend a month in Australia for the shooting of her Yash Raj film. But the actress left Mumbai two days before the start of her shooting schedule (which will begin on January 7) to spend time with Yuvraj. "She wanted to cheer him up and also spend quality time with him on her birthday," our source tells Gullu. Yuvi would definitely need the cheering after his dismal performance against the Aussies, having managed just 17 runs in three innings so far. Deepika and Yuvraj have been linked up by the media on numerous occasions, though the couple have always mainatined that they are 'good friends.' Before Yuvraj came into the picture, Deepika was paired up with Indian captain M S Dhoni , but she denied that as well.

Celina Jaitley in Sari

This has got be the funniest thing in the sequel of Golmaal. The half-Indian half-Afghani Christian-Muslim, Celina Jaitley, plays a traditional Tamilian housewife in Rohit Shetty's Phir Golmaal. Draped in a nine-yard sari with flowers in her hair and the 'Aiyyo Appas' on her lips, Celina seems to have come a long way from her bikini-in-the-water avatar in Feroz Khan's Janasheen. "I guess that's true. For a long time I could not find my bearings in Mumbai. I was too busy sorting out my life. And the opportunities just slipped past me. Then I had to take what was coming my way," explains Celina. But seeing Celina draped in a sari requires a lot of imaginative power. "Why do you say that?" she laughs. "Trust me, at heart and in my home I'm not at all the hot siren that I'm made out to be. Getting into a sari is no big deal for me." However, the Tamilian accent, as she plays Shreyas Talpade's wife in Phir Golmaal, mustn’t have been easy to master. "I can't reveal details. But yes watch what I've done in this film. People will be shocked." Err..with Kareena Kapoor playing the main lead, does Celina stand a chance occupying decent space? "It's not a walk-on part, I can tell you that much. And we're both cast opposite two of the leading men in the film." However, on location in Goa, it was Tusshar Kapoor and not any of her other co-stars that Celina bonded with.
